So, you came here to learn a little more about my lil’ ol’ blog?

Yes?

Good news. I like you already.

And since I like you already, I’m going to be completely honest with you. I have been fumbling over myself for ages on what exactly to do for this “About” page. I mean, they’re really important! What if the President of the United States comes to this humble abode of a site and is like “Wow. What a nice, funny, insightful little blog! I MUST know more.” And then I have a pathetic About page? No one wins in that scenario.

No one.

No need to worry, though! I am determined not to disappoint the President, so be prepared to be flourished with amazingness. Or entertainingness. Okay, get ready for at least mild interestingness. Gosh. Tough crowd.

To start this off, you might want to know “Why did you create this blog, Hannah?”

and I’d have to say, “Oh, that’s EASY. I created this blog to solve world hunger and win the Nobel Peace Prize, all by next Tuesday!”

But because lies are bad… in all honesty, I created this blog purely out of fun and as an outlet to express myself and my opinions through writing. Behind everything, a passion for writing is alive and ever-growing.

I’ve been writing stories, little “magazines”, and “newspapers” ever since I could remember. As soon as I could write I was piecing sentences together to create untold worlds and people. It’s something that was kind of just part of my nature, and it just grew with time.

So, if you want to stick around for a little sarcasm, a little insight, a little craziness, then go on and hit that follow button and become part of the club.

…Especially you, Mr. President. You can even be an honorary member!

Signing off,

Hannah Garner

  1. Hi Hannah! I found you on WP’s Community Pool. I did not start reading Community Pool because I am a beginner, but I recently started another blog and thought I could pick up a few pointers.

I think your blog, and especially your about page, is terrific! I love your conversational tone — it keeps things interesting. Oh, and I also think you’re a good photographer. Love those floral pictures!

  2. So…there’s this thing called The Entertainer Blogger Award that I nominated you for here:

    https://dearlilyjune.wordpress.com/2016/08/02/i-feel-stupid-and-contagious-on-the-occasion-that-your-mom-is-called-an-entertainer/

Even if you decide not to “follow the rules” for the award (you rebel!) I just want you to know that I respect you and what you write on your blog.

Just so you don’t think I’m trying to con you into reading my blog against your wishes, I’m copying what I wrote about you there below:

Hannah of Wordsmith Observations–By far, the youngest blogger I read, she is nevertheless precociously witty & wise in her (her word) entertainingness.

    Thanks for what you do.
